Centriair develops proprietary, technology leading solutions. Energy efficient removal of airborne particles, VOCs and odour from industrial processes primarily within Food, Food Residue, Waste, Slaughterhouses, Wastewater and Biogas Processing.
Solid Waste
Managing and converting organic or compostable waste into biogas raw material comes with significant odor challenges. This process generally includes truck reception, storage, pressing, and other handling stages. The specific solution required depends on the type of waste, the volume being processed, and the size of the facility. Additionally, the installation location plays a crucial role—whether it’s indoors or outdoors can influence the design. Standard vessels may be suitable in some cases, while customized solutions might be necessary to fit specific spatial constraints.
Biogas
In the Biogas segment solutions need to be tailored to the application and the pollutants present. Anaerobic or Aerobic digestion, particles/dust, concentration and humidity – all these parameters need to be considered when engineering a solution.
Industrial Food Processing
In the Food Processing industry, most of our references are within Frying applications, however we are increasingly implementing our solutions on Smoking, Roasting and Fish Processing applications. Frying applications include high temperature oil frying of products such as French fries, Crisps/Chips, Noodles, Chicken, Fish, Meat and Pastries.
In Food Residue Processing, we offer solutions for Petfood, Rendering and Slaughterhouse Waste Processing.
Wastewater
Centriair has extensive experience working with water treatment plants, where preventing harmful H2S levels is crucial for safety and compliance. Odors from pumping stations pose a common challenge for many municipalities. These situations often require solutions designed for low airflows, but selecting the appropriate technology is essential to achieve high efficiency while maintaining cost-effective operation.
